Web Designer and Graphic Artist
David, a lifelong Humboldt County resident and graduate of Humboldt State University, has always had a passion for the arts. He is a regular on stage and behind the scenes at several local theatres including North Coast Repertory Theatre where he served on the board of directors for seven years.
In 2005, after having designed web sites for family and non-profit organizations, often pro bono, David began working as web master for the Blue Ox Millworks in Eureka. Over the course of two years, he increased their web traffic by 1700% and brought in visitors online from over 115 countries. In 2007 he started his own business which in the first year expanded to have around 20 clients including a national award winning website for the Humboldt Rose Society.
In his spare time, David enjoys writing, and designing t-shirts for his geek themed t-shirt store on CafePress.
WordPress & Social Media Expert
Kelsey grew up surrounded by web designers in the heart of the Silicon Valley during the dot com boom. She was coding websites and working on Photoshop projects while still in elementary school. From her earliest roots, she’s been a planner, a dreamer, and a researcher. One of our most well-read web designers, Kelsey keeps her finger on the pulse of internet and is always updated on the latest plug-ins, algorithms, and social media tools.
In her spare time, Kelsey’s constant drive for perfection is displayed in her passion for gardening and home improvement projects. She can also be found in the local community theatre scene as an actress and stage manager, and has served on the board of directors for The North Coast Repertory Theatre.
Like many, Evan’s passion for photography grew from a young age through his fascination with the outdoors. This deep-rooted attachment to nature has greatly influenced his photographs, which shows in the color and luminosity of his work.
His passion for photography is not limited to only one particular field. Today he is fortunate to be a highly requested photographer for weddings, landscapes, portraits, school dances, real estate, products, promotional photos, and more. David Hamilton Design is proud to have him on board as our resident photographer, and our web designers have always been exceptionally pleased by his work.
Anders has been a fanatic puzzle solver since the age of seven, a tendency which has naturally inclined him to the abilities that make him David Hamilton Design’s troubleshooter, code-fixer, and sticky-widget implementer. His code monkey skills are largely self-taught, though some classes at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo probably didn’t hurt.
Like all the other staff members at DHD (Even occasionally including Evan) when he’s not hanging out with web designers, Anders can often be found working with North Coast Repertory Theater. He’s been involved with two or more shows a year there for the last decade or so, usually as an actor. He may be working on some kind of record!
