Project: Design A Postcard For Progressive California Assembly Delegates

Things that were noteworthy about this project:

This was a fairly short notice project with a tight deadline. We had a rough sketch of a design layout, some basic text, and a variety of photos – some of which were low resolution.

Process:

For this project, we created a background effect by layering two different stock photos and giving them a 50% transparent overlay.  We modified stock graphics for the blue banner at the top and for the California bear on the reverse side. And we did some clean up work on the candidate photographs to make sure that they all had decent lighting and contrast levels.
